Yes, I think H.C.R.L mentioned that years after this symphony was
first performed, the 2nd movement with the brass and timpani was still
causing a buzz.

The Graupner Sinfonias I'm editing are pretty unusual in that they
have these trumpets in unusual keys, with timpani in sets of 4,5,6, or
even 7, plus they're used in slow movements.
