I'd use something like Shirmer's musical terms dictionary (ISBN: 0911318151), etc. I'm sure there's also a similar text going from German to English, Italian, French, etc. Books of this type will be filed at the library under music dictionaries. For what it's worth, the Library of Congress call number for such books is ML 108. This might be helpful when running a WorldCat search for this type of text.
