See, I would have immediately played the previous measure. In my viol consort we just say "measure 13" because we always use music with measure numbers. But because our coach is slightly dyslexic, she might actually mean measure 17 -- it depends on where the numbered measures are, but if the point of reference is measure 15, she will often count in the wrong direction. It's pretty weird, but we're all used to it now! :) -- David W.
