How about Henry Purcell, great composer, general bon viveur and drunkard (kind of like Fats Waller, but 300 years earlier), wrote all those filthy yet uproarious drinking songs, died of pneumonia after sleeping in an alley on a rainy night because he was locked out of the house by his wife who was fed up with him coming home late and drunk all the time? Kind of an early gangsta' rapper with all those vulgar and misogynist references in his off-book works. I see Snoop Dogg in the starring role...
