Using both Adobe reader and Preview on my Mac G5 with Finale 2007c,
I compiled postscript files of a 4 page score by selecting "ALL" in
the dialog box. The pages would not convert to .pdf files, and I got
an error message stating that the files were either the wrong type or
they were corrupted. I tried several times with the same result.
Then I tried it one page at a time, and was able to convert 2 of the
4 pages. Only the title page and the last page refused to convert.
I restarted the computer, made another .ps of page 1 and double
clicked it. It converted to a .pdf using Preview.
Now, nothing seems to work on page 4, which still sends me bad file
messages.
Is there a .ps problem in FINMAC 2007c?
