Hi, collected wisdom,
A choir directed by a friend of mine is performing a Hal Leonard
publication called WITH A SONG IN MY HEART: THE MUSIC OF RICHARD
RODGERS, arranged by Mac Huff for SATB and piano. It's very long,
about 80 pages and over an hour in length.
Apparently there was a band pack of additional instruments available
at one point, but it is now out of print and not available through
any of the usual sources at any price. The choir needs at least a
bass part and a drum/percussion part for an upcoming concert, and is
on the verge of paying me a princely sum to create them, unless I
find someone willing to sell/lend the parts.
Anybody out there have this in their local choir library? It's the
sort of thing that would be sung by a high school, glee club, or
community choir, rather than in a university music program. I would
also appreciate any other suggestions about other lists or other
places I could ask this question.
