Keith,

there's a utility called PopChar that will give you a chart of all the characters (and their keyboard commands) in all the fonts you have installed on your computer.

It works for Macs and PCs

Recently folks were discussing where to find ½ ¼ etc. – using alt171 and alt172- or other sources. (alt 0189 or alt 0188)

These are of course in Times Roman (Windows default?)

I have in my Finale Quick reference card 2001 and 2004 several other font charts Petrucci, Maestro etc.

Can someone please tell me where to find the complete Times Roman character list?

Trial and error have found ♪ and ♫ and also £- very useful when ordering music etc from UK!

And a complete series of accents, umlauts(sp?) etc. again- useful for French or German contacts.

The whole trial and error thing will take days! I’m up to alt243= ¾ but the list must surely be published somewhere!
