That's just it -- apparently from within Finale, you have no choice. Trying to open the help file opens it in IE on PCs and Safari on Macs. But you can always open your preferred browser and then open the Finale help HTML file, apparently, from what others have reported.
And Finale is supposed to allow us to specify which browser in an interim update. Yeah, like it was supposed to fix the hypen problem in an update patch and also fix the speedy-entry enharmonic-flip bug in an update patch.
