[Finale] OPTIMIZING piano parts

I've asked this before, gotten good answers before, also figured this  
out on my own before, but NOW, with MacFin2007, I can't seem to get  
it to work using linked parts.
	The piano part: how can I optimize this part? As we know, the  
default is "Optimize only when all staves are empty." With Staff  
Tool>Edit Groups I used to be able to change that (it had to be done  
before I did a Special Part extraction), but not with Fiin07 linked  
parts, it won't happen.
        What's the remedy?
