looking at getting a machine for metal ring binding (also poss. for plastic comb for less important things), any suggestions?

falambi look solid and adjustable. renz look sexy.

we need to be able to bind larger than A4/letter so one side at least MUST be open on the machine.

expecting to have to pay around 200eur, hoping to avoid going much higher, but feel free to let me know of more pricey models, since we may get it through eBay, in which case it will be cheaper than the new price (well, so much crap on eBay is new as well, but i digress unnecessarily...)

looked around some shops in berlin, but noone sems to know much about it, and the one place i found where i could order something the selection was **extremely** limited.

any info would be appreciated: models, stability, durability, ease of finding materials (bindings etc.), blah blah.

can someone please explain what the 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1 "pitch" mean?

some machines punch square holes it seems... can these be used for both coil and for metal bindings?

and, um, any other answers to questions i didn't know better to ask would be appreciated 8-)

cheers,
jef
