Is there any reason you continue to use the "smart" hyphens? In my
experience, the only thing smart about "smart" hyphens is that they
continue to the next system. Conversely the only thing dumb about
"dumb" hyphens is that they don't. I used the "smart" ones for about 5
minutes some time back in 2004.

With "dumb" lyric hyphens you will get to keep all your hair. You will
also need to create a custom line shape to manually enter
continuations on subsequent systems.

The replacement of legacy hyphens with the "Smart Hyphens" option in
Fin04 is a classic example of a mistake so many software developers
make. Here they had a feature that worked quite well, but it needed a
couple of tweaks and it needed it one major enhancement. Rather than
iteratively enhance the existing code, they replaced it with a
brand-new feature, based on a completely different design, that,
except for the specific missing features in the legacy version, does
not meet the requirements at all.

At least they got word extensions right. (But then, the legacy word
extension are truly awful.) And at least you can turn off the legacy
word extensions while keeping legacy hyphens.
