Now that is an interesting thought -- it's too bad that if that is true MakeMusic can't be more public about it with comments such as "we know there are bugs, we're not wasting time fixing them in the current code base because we're ditching it all in a total rewrite which we hope to have completed in the next year or so."

Then the ignoring of bugs would make sense, as well as the lack of rushing out an interim upgrade patch.

But if that's the case, they need to get with the times and communicate with their clientele.
