The problem belongs to soundcard drivers, not to the keyboard, which
only sends a MIDI signal to the soundcard. It is the soundcard itself
that has to manage the signal in real time and convert it in a sound. If
the card has poor drivers, the latency occurs.
You should specify if you need a soundcard which has an inbuilt
soundbank (like the Creative Audigy series) or you need simply a
reliable audiocard to manage sounds through Finale soundfonts.
In the second case I'm really satisfied with this USB Audio Card

I have been very dissatisfied with a keyboard (Behringer UMX61) that I
bought recently because of the irritating latencies between key press and
sound. I thought I might get used to it, but have not been able to. It plugs
into a USB port (Windows XP) and perhaps that accounts for the problem.
What combinations of MIDI keyboards and sound cards have you used that you
recommend?
