Yes, there is an easy way to change the position of an optimized system:
After optimizing go to the Staff tool,
select the *lower* handle of the first staff you want to change the position,
in the Staff Menu go to 'Staff Usage...',
take this value (for the second staff) and change it
to the value from the other staff.
Do the same for the second staff.
