PS Have you reported the dialog box+Leopard issue to MM? I'm really
hoping there will be a fix to this before Fin2009!
I have not noticed any dialog box problems in earlier versions under
Leopard -- so far, they seem fine (although I haven't tried Fin2007).

I'm finding that Spaces is really, really buggy -- far buggier than
any other OS feature Apple has put out in a long time.
I know that the Crash-on-quit issue is written up as being fixed,
and it probably is for many people. I have to report that it still
happens to me every time. (OS 10.5.1, PPC, Finale 2008a).
As to the dialog boxes not closing, I started noticing this even in
Finale 2007 after I switched to Leopard (to test it out). The
clicking of OK or Cancel in many, but not all dialog boxes, doesn't
work unless you hold down the mouse for a long time. Using the Enter
key on the number keypad does work however, as does the Esc key for
Cancel. The additional problem is that if you expect some action to
take place by pressing Enter, the box closes, but the action doesn't
always happen.
I too have a hunch that Spaces is involved in this bug, so I'm going
to test it some more by turning it off and removing all key commands
related to it.
If anyone else has anomalies to report, please do so! It sure helps
to know that you aren't alone with something only affecting you.
