I wonder which problems that would be. Personally I would not feel
comfortable backing up and then actually erasing the original. And
whatever you do, I really think you should have at least two
working backup clones before you even think about erasing anything.
It may have been pilot error (probably was, in fact) but I screwed up
my system in a major fashion on my last computer with CCCloner. I
still come across documents that I have to manually change the
permissions on from time to time, dating from that disaster. I
haven't used it since. Nothing lost, though.
