When I select the first bar with the Selection Tool (same if I choose
bar 2) then choose Insert Measure Stack, it crashes Finale. The
behaviour is consistent even after rebooting. The first few lines of the
crash log is appended. This doesn't happen in other files.
I didn't have time to sort it out, so I just copied the contents to a
new file nine measures later and fixed the layout and barlines and all
the small stuff that didn't copy over. But I would like to know what
happened. I also wrote in to tech support, but I have had little joy
from them recently, whereas I can usually find someone here on the list
who knows what is up.
I wonder what would have happened if you had tried to insert the
measures between measure 1 and 2 and then simply copied the contents
from bar 1 to bar 9.
