Can you place an expression in one location and have it take effect 
somewhere else *without* needing to define that other location in 
EVPUs? 

I very often enter things exactly as the appear in my sources but 
might attach the expression to a different note than is vertically 
aligned with the expression (in an eventual critical edition made 
from this source score, the vertical alignment would be corrected and 
noted in the critical notes). Can this be done without the fussiness 
that is required when doing the same thing with Measure Expressions?
