I use mine quite frequently. I have a 19" Dell.
It's especially handy for programming too ;-)
A little tip about Dell monitors:
They use the same glass that Apple does. If you like the look of
Apple's monitors, wait a couple of months and that's the glass that
will be in them, for much cheaper. The reason that they're cheaper is
that Apple pays a bit extra to have the cutting edge glass in their
monitors. Dell simply waits a bit and the result is something just as
good for less money.
