Kim--
The way I see it, a wiki would be useful if you were going to be
editing content a lot, with many collaborators. Collaboration is what
makes wikis really shine. Most wikis are a front end for a database,
typically MySQL. However, the nice thing is that you don't have to do
much with the database, just host it.

Hi everyone:
Without starting WW3 again, I have been considering creating an online
version of a catalog of Graupner's orchestral music and maybe some of
the Telemann
cantatas, very little seems to be online in the way of resources. I
don't have a lot of time and I don't want to learn database theory, I
work full time and I have
the editions I prepare to work on as well. I'd like for it to list
several things such as movements, instrumentation, dates, manuscript
sources, and maybe even
incipits of movements with sound files "incipits."
Someone suggested creation of a "Wiki" page, I didn't know wiki was a
server application. So for what I am trying to do, should it be wiki?
I have
MS Access, but again, I don't want to become an expert in database
theory, I just want to get started.
Thanks for your suggestions!
