I'll put my vote in for MediaWiki, the same one used by Wikipedia. When I was implementing my Jet Replication Wiki (http://dfenton.com/DFA/Replication/), I evaluated DokuWiki, PMWiki, PHPWiki and MediaWiki. My main reason for choosing MediaWiki was the overabundance of pre-written add-ins that just worked out of the box. My first task was setting up user authorization and the only one that had the pre-built modules that just plugged in and worked was MediaWiki. I will say that it's a pain the ass to customize the look of MediaWiki, though (you have to know CSS pretty well, and you have to manage your files carefully so you don't overwrite your customizations if you upgrade your MediaWiki installation). On the other hand, this leaves you time to think about your content instead of mucking around with cosmetic issues. -- David W.
