Yes. But first, completely eliminate the old version, including all libraries and preferences files.

Don't even mess with the authorization until you have fully updated your GPO installation. If you have an older GPO serial number, you will need to obtain a new one when moving to Kontakt Player 2 (though probably you have already dealt with this if you've done this migration on your old computer.) At any rate, everything can be done via the NI Service Center app, if you just hold off on registration/ authorization until the very end.
