Well, if I had those tools, I guess I'd do that, too, but lacking them, I don't have the ability to edit the recording in as fine- grained a degree. Nobody else has complained about it, in fact (perhaps because the MP3 emphasizes the rumble, and they are hearing the original?). Your version does sound good (though why'd you use the unspliced version?), yes, but I just can't do that to the whole recording, unfortunately.
