Because of the way I work in finale i often put notes in with their articulation, and then for some reason or other, that note gets changed to a rest, leaving the articulation. So for example, I get staccato eighth rests.

My question is twofold:

a. Is there a way to go through the score and using some kind of filter, delete any articulation attached to a rest, and only those ones? Can Finalescript accomplish something like this?

Not that I know of, unfortunately. Maybe some wizard here has another idea though.

Quite easy in Sibelius, using the Filter function. At least I think so, but I haven't mastered that function yet.
