Hi,
Please help? Newly installed Finale 2009, upgrade from 2006d.
Playback stutters badly no matter whether Smartmusic Softsynth,
QuickTime, or Garriton. I'm on PowerMac G5 1.8 GHZ, 1 G RAM, OS
10.4.3. All of my other MIDI and audio apps work fine, including
Finale 2006. Is Finale 2009 just too overloaded w/Garriton sounds or
is something else going on? Should I trash the preferences,
reinstall, or what?
The manual isn't any help (and a hassle, to boot, I think they broke
it w/scrollbars for HTML, I very much preferred Acrobat Reader or
even MacPreview)
Thanks for any help, I have a project due, playback would sure make a
difference.
