[Finale] FinWin 2k6 - Entering 16th's triplets with Speedy Entry without MIDI keyboard

I have to transcribe a piece with a plenty of 16th's triplets in it.
The fastest way  to do that without a MIDI keyboard?
Metatools?
As I never used a metatool before, can any kind soul deeply explain
how to do that?
