Hello Finale Listers
I am a long term Finale user and am now using Finale 2009. I also use
ProTools software with a Digi002 rack. All of this on PC. Finale 2009 is
supposed to support ASIO drivers but to get any sound I still have to
use the DirectSound output even though the Digi002 driver appears in the
Audio settings as a choice. MakeMusic Customer Support has not been able
to help. I am wondering if there is anyone else out there in Finale land
that uses this combination of equipment and software.
Now that Sibelius is part of Avid I am seriously thinking I should jump
ship even though I have years of Finale files .... although
unfortunately the cheap crossgrade that this list has mentioned does not
seem to be applying to Australian buyers.
