Hi, Owain. This puzzles me. To change text formatting in Word, you first have to select the text you want to change, right? That's a double click (or more than one, or a sweep, but still it's done with the mouse). After that, sure, I know the usual keyboard shortcuts in Word and use them all the time, but you can't get completely away from the mouse.
