A corrupted preference file caused Finale's MassMover to act erratically. I deleted the offending file and created new one, but I was able to "corrupt" it as well by re-configuring the tool palette. Apparently, if I try to use a different tool palette (other than the default) Finale acts like a poorly behaved child.

Just so I understand this correctly: If I move or re-configure the tool palette, Finale will misbehave. .

Bringing me up to speed: I left the tool palette alone....but I chose something other than the default for its display....Cool Black. Now Finale "Quits unexpectedly after closing"...did my preference file get corrupted again? What is going on?

I doubt this makes much difference, but still, it is unnerving and is certainly strange behavior for a program with as much history as Finale. End users should never have to deal with problems like these....and am I also to believe that MakeMusic has neglected to fix this in more recent versions of the software? Where is the quality control?
