I hate to be the one to point this out, since I'm not actively using
Finale, and we've discussed it before, although not recently, but any
program that is dependent on outside third-party developers to make
the basic program fully functional has GOT to be considered an
incomplete program. And that seems to have been MakeMusic's and
Coda's mindset for a very long tine.
Of course there are also lots of plugins for Sibelius, and some are
quite useful, but for the most part they seem to be nice things to
have, and not missing pieces of an incomplete program. And they're
distributed through Sibelius.
