Dear Steve, That's whatI think, and I wish I could solve this outside of Finale, but font issues like this are sometimes opaque and difficult to expose so that they can be cured. The Mac Fontbook utility fixes some problems, but leaves others unresolved, and Bill Duncan did no one any favors when he named different version of the same font with no change except for the elimination of the space in the name. Besides that, when you see the font label in the library, it has a shortened version of the name, so you are not quite sure what the OS is seeing. Another thing - I believe that Bill's B TimesBold is probably Times New Roman Bold with another name - and there may be OS confusion with that. Fontbook shows duplicates of Times fonts that the "Resolve Duplicates" in the editor will not resolve. I would love to find a reliable method of solving this.
