 Lyx is pretty much what you just said (http://www.lyx.org/) It's very good,
really nikce. You can get the quality of TeX and it's not difficult to
learn. As easy as MS-Word. You can import EPS graphics and Lilypond files (
http://lilypond.org/). They are releasing the 2.0 version soon and I think
they are preparing a way to incorporate Lilypond code inside the document.
So you can write things like
\Lilypond {c e g a g e c}
and it will print a beautiful music example with the quality fo the Lilypond
typewriting.
