I'd be curious to see that, if you still have the link. The old-world connections of early film composers (particularly the opera-film connection) is a topic of interest and casual study for me, but I certainly don't know everything. If there's a connection I wasn't aware of I'd love to learn it. I'm pretty familiar with Korngold's career but I barely know Waxman at all. By the way, I completely agree with David F's observation that the composers in Hollywood were well *aware* of Schoenberg's work and style.
