I am using Finale 2008 on my iMac. In 4/4 time, I have several
occurences of a sixteenth note sextuplet on a single beat. Using
speedy note entry, I hold down the option key and then press the
number 6, and proceed to enter my 6 sixteenth notes (actually, some of
these have a sixteenth note rest followed by five sixteenth notes, and
some have 6 sixteenth notes).
My problem is this...sometimes there appears a broken bracket around
the "6" (marking that it is a sextuplet), and sometimes the 6 appears
without the broken bracket around the "6". Anyone know why this is
happening? I'd prefer to have the broken bracken appear in all
instances, but can't seem to figure out how to do this.
