Robert Patterson's Settings Scrapbook will do this for you very nicely, all in one go. You just go through and select all the settings you want transferred, then pick up the settings from an old doc and put them into your new template.

FinaleScript also has an "Import House Style" command which is supposed to do this, but it's broken in Fin11.

Having said that, I agree that it would be useful to have a report of all of one's settings that could be saved for future reference. It would allow you, for example, to run down lists for two different files to see where the settings differ. I think Jari had started working on something like this a long while back for Forza.

I checked out the Settings Scrapbook, and this is close to what I'm asking about, but I'd like even more detail, such as positioning of text boxes as well as font style. What I'm envisioning would be a checklist of details & measurements for a document. I suppose one could create an Excel template to fill, but it would be nice to have it automated by a plugin.
