You don't say what Finale version you're using, but I had exactly the same issue with FinMac 2007 after I upgraded to Snow Leopard. I called MM and they told me they no longer supported v2007, there was nothing they could do about it, and would gladly take my order for a 2011 upgrade. Yeah, right.
Bottom line: you're probably out of luck unless you upgrade. Sorry.
