Hello, Collective Wisdom! I am working on some Turkish clarinet music, in which I am trying to define a character to use in a nonstandard, nonlinear key signature: I need the backwards flat (char. 66 in Maestro Percussion) on B, a slashed flat on E and a sharp on F in the signature. I can create a linear key sig. using both flats and sharps in the same sig--that's easy--but I need to ask Finale to use two different characters for flats. Can I create the character in the shape designer and use it in a key signature? What is the best way to do this?
