I looked at the file you sent me, and the problem is Human Playback in combination with Voice 2. After the Voice 2 appears, the staff drops dead on playback. (HP use for ornaments and stuff, perhaps that has something to do with the bug.)
To fix it, either enter the 2 bars in question as layer 1+2 measures, or turn off HP. Make sure to report the bug to Makemusic.
