Is the file actually in /Library/Fonts and in ~/Library/Fonts and does it have the same permissions as the rest of those files? i.e. did you run DiskUtil to check? I'd get rid of the ~/Library/Fonts version if you have two of them (~ is the user Library, not the main Library). You can do a command-I in Font Util to maybe see where the font is supposed to be. Oh, and you might want to choose if you are going to use the PS or TT version.
