open new doc from default; or create "new doc with no libraries" and create a text block with "Part/Score Name" insert enter Score/Part name text block either via context menu "edit text" or by selecting the handle and hitting return. click to place cursor after text insert, or move cursor manually to right of insert type anything (space, text, return) text and text block disappears now, create a new text block, insert "Part/Score Name" and immediately after the insert -- before exiting the text block editing -- type a space or any other character and then exit text block editing. return to edit it, adding text now does not make the text block disappear. so it seems to only behave this way when the text block ONLY contains the Part/Score Name insert (it doesn't happen with other inserts) and with no extra characters in the text block with the insert. _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
