Turning on mirroring does not solve the problem, either -- none of the OS-level
display options will cause Finale's Edit Margins dialog boxes to reposition
themselves.

This is a longstanding bug in Finale. If either or both of the Edit Margins
dialog boxes have repositioned when using a second monitor so that they are not
visible at your main monitor's maximum resolution once you unplug the second
display, the only way to get them back is to plug the second monitor back in,
so you can see them and reposition them, or delete your Finale preferences.
