in the flute PT, set up the measure region you want to have showing the soprano (freeze measures per system as you want it) and apply the staff style to "force hide staff: and collapse" (NOT in SC only!!!) to the soprano line in the PT only. the style may exist in your file already, or you can define a new style with just this setting.
