Ryan, Am I misunderstanding this? Pick one staff, drag all the triangles to the level of the leftmost, then drag the leftmost to the distance you want. As far as I know, it is now done for the entire document. Maybe I'm missing something but my understanding is: Leftmost triangle = document setting; next one to the right = the selected staff in the whole document; third to the right = setting for the selected staff on the particular line in page view. Never did figure out what the 4th one does.
