i haven't ever seen anything like that. there is a known bug where mass copying to a normal (i.e. no mirror) measure erases one or two of the subsequent mirrored measures in the target staff. but this for sure hasn't caused the problem. i now mass copy smart shapes to empty target measures before assigning mirrors. copying smart shapes / expressions after mirrors are defined also erases mirrors in the target measure(s).
