Which version of Sibelius are you talking about? I've been using Sibelius since version 2.11 and it has never done that as a default. Sibelius only puts a redundant accidental on a tied note when the tie carries over from one system to the next. It doesn't put it on the 2nd tied note when both are on the same line of music. And that placement of the cautionary accidental when a tied note continues onto the next system can be turned on or off as the user wishes. -- David H.
