Greetings… I’ve recently had to open up on old file (created on Finale 2.6.1, later updated/re-saved in Mac 2008). None of the articulations are visible. The handle of each articulation is there. When I clicked on the first handle (an accent) to see what was up I got the Articulation Designer with empty boxes where the accent character would normally display. Clicking on “Main” takes me to the Symbol Selection box, which displays not the usual characters I’d expect to see, but thousands of choices (none of them what I’m looking for). Next to “Font” it says “Missing Font (26)” so I assume it’s that something is missing.
Any ideas how I can successfully update this file (I’m currently using 2014) without re-creating each of the articulations (and there are thousands in the 60-page full orchestra score) one by one?
