the only thing i would do differently (which i believe should make no diff) is to select ALL instances of the expresson in questioin and unlink before moving the FL instance.
are you able to produce the same situation on a new doc from scracth (no libraries etc.)? i don't see the same problem you have; as far as i can tell you shouldn't (based on my own experiences) have this problem... am off to bed and away all day tomorrow (at the beach 8-)), but you could send me the file, i could try it and compare to one of my own files. not sure this will solve anything, but worth a try. another probably unrelated question but are you clearing on the macbook keyboard or an external keyboard? i am not able to access certain keys and work 100% without an external extended keyboard. > > ah, do you have the instrument checked to appear in the SC and parts? >> (e.g. vln I)? my staff set forces the expression to show on the top >> staff of the SC and top staff of PT, plus on select staves ONLY in >> the SC. > >That is exactly how I have it set. > >> editing the positioning in the SC should not affect its positioning >> in the PTs... i am not sure we are actually talking about the same >> thing (?). > >It shouldn't.
