Forget it. I've tried this too many times to remember I'm afraid. Something about Finale steadfastly refuses to honor that request at any level. Abobe Acrobat Pro does the same thing on my Mac, altho more surreptitiously.
My only way around is the cntl-click on a file. Major PITA. Sorry. Maybe someone else can chime in and we can learn something we didn't know. But I'm not holding my breath.
