Hi all, Finale 2014 Windows.
I thought I had this covered, but it seems not. How do I get Finale to leave alone absolutely every rhythmic rest value that I enter (in Speedy)? This client score has lots of dotted-this and beamed-that and changing time signatures. It's visual logic (which I actually like), but Finale insists on tearing dotted quarters into two or three pieces. Especially when I copy identical measures elsewhere, it will change the rest values at the end of the measure (these measures are hand-spaced so I need them as-is). Also, if there is any advice on creating flat slurs and flat ties for everything, I'd like to know what that might be. This is an 800-measure score for multiple keyboards and every measure is affected by these elements.
