Can't figure what I'm doing wrong. FinMac 2012c. Garritan Instruments for Finale. Fusion Drum Kit.
Some percussion instruments play back louder than others. At this point, I have not added any dynamics or other expressions that would affect velocity. (Just tempo expressions). The Hi-Hat Foot volume doesn't match the Kick Drum volume. Likewise for the different kind of cymbals, and even snare. I'm not using Human Playback initiated from the Playback Controls in this case. I'm Space Bar-clicking to play back after I enter a section of music. I've gone into the Mixer and raised the volume slider all the way up in the hope that I could at least hear the drums over the other instruments, but to no avail. The percussion instruments are hard to hear even when the staff is soloed in the Score Manager. Is this a Garritan issue? SoftSynth doesn't seem to have this problem, but I don't like [some] of the sounds as much. Any ideas?
